Byakuya indossa la solita uniforme capitano insieme a un capote bianco chiamato kenseikan (simbolo del suo rango nobile come il pinnacolo della famiglia Kuchiki) e una sciarpa bianca fatta dal tessitore di afferra, Tsujishirō Kuroemon III.
